Brixham Horticultural Society was set up as an allotments and garden association to encourage and help the local people to DIG FOR VICTORY in 1941.  People were encouraged to use public open spaces to grow vegetable as a Civic Duty.  Brixham was, as it still is, very conscious of a sense of duty and the Society was set up to help each other.

The Society meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 2pm (except for January) in the Catholic Church Hall on New Road Brixham.

Visitors are welcome. There is normally a talk with tea and biscuits – see our diary for details.

Brixham Horticultural Society is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society.
